I was wondering… I’m a *very* new C# programmer - all my experience is with Delphi - and I’m being tossed into the deep end of the pool with the need to both learn how to develop for Linux *and* C++/C#.
I’ve got to figure out how to get FBReader to compile for uCLinux on a Gumstix platform - but first I must compile it for Windows. FBReader uses GTK+, I know that much. I’ve got VC++ and VC# (Express editions) but I need to use GTK+ and that led me to Mono. However, I’m *so* used to a GUI IDE and MonoDevelop is for Linux.
So do you have any suggestions for a WinXP IDE for Mono development - or should I stick with using VC++Express and can I use GTK+ libraries (for Windows) with that? And if so, how?
I’m floundering here, could you please help?
