		<description>Dear Zac,

I have written a C# application that make use of a BHO for IE (implemented as Activex) and I would like to do the same for Firefox, but I have no idea how and where to begin.

From all the research I've done it seems to me I need to create an XPCOM component and implement nsIURIContentListener to trap uri clicks and filter on a custom protocol.

The trouble is a) I have no idea how to write an XPCOM component, b) how to implement nsIURIContentListener, c) use it in my C# application.

I was wondering if you could possibly help, at least point me in the right direction. All the examples I've found so far are either too complicated, written for C++, or are not complete.

Many thanks in advance,
Michael Mussulis.</description>
