I have to say, David, SHARE those pills! Oy! I have so many complaints with so many "computer" companies... I have resorted to piecing my own desktops since I can have what I WANT but I have to admit. I have a dino of a dell notebook. It won't die damn the thing! It is an old Latitude CP with 64mb RAM. I was tormenting the thing after my little sister spilled pepsi all over it "helping" me move. It still turned on with standing soda in the case and loaded windows 95... bleh. i haven't bought another notebook yet since i like to stay close to home. anyone have a notebook & a company they LOVE?

You should dump dell and go with Sager. I bought my laptop with a 17" lcd 1680x1050, athlon 64 3400+, 1gig of ram, 80 gig 5400rpm hard drive, 8x DL DVD+RW, gigabit ethernet, 802.11g, and the nicest speakers I've ever heard in laptop from Sager for $2,100. I ordered mine from discountlaptops.com and recieved it in three days. Best laptop I've ever owned. You can also try pctorque.com, they seem to keep better stock, they also host notebookforums.com, a great resource for laptop reviews and info. Wow, this really seems like an ad. Sorry, just fed up with dell myself.
